Like every other group and gathering, there are rules wherever you go. Here are some salient rules that each one of us must follow while here:

1. Don’t argue over silly matters or issues: This is not a battleground but a place of comfort

2. Refrain from chatting with a single person as much as you can: Switch onto a private chat if you want to have a talk with a particular person.

3. Please do not discuss any religious matters, as there are several schools of thoughts being followed by our members with due respects to all.

4. Don’t make fun of anyone

5. This is not a dating group: Don’t solicit for friendship or for relationships.

6. Don’t comment awful things about an actor or a celebrity, a Church or a Pastor, a Country or her President.

7. Don’t spam this group with unnecessary chains and forward audio, videos, photos, messages that are not relevant to the messages we have posted on our Website, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages.

8. Don’t promote any organisation, political or non political in the group.

9. Refrain from posting unnecessary things as this group is meant to be a place to discuss and reflect on Apostle Pride Sibiya's content from www.pridesibiya.com.

10. Actively participate in the group: Don’t completely ignore and don’t over-talk.

We will start taking the following actions on the offending incidents:

1. 1st time offenders will be warned.
2. Subsequent offenders will be removed and added back with a delay.
3. Repeat offenders will be removed permanently.

Also Follow These WhatsApp Groups Golden Rules:

1. Always keep to the purpose of the group: Don’t share irrelevant messages about other topics.

2. Do not spam the group! If you would like a group to share memes, adverts or deals with then set one up for that exact purpose and invite others to join.

3. Don’t be offended if others leave. Not everyone wants the same information.

4. Do politely excuse yourself before you leave a group.

5. Post your message in one single chunk of text, don’t post every word or sentence in a new message.

6. Never, ever use the platform of the group chat to engage in a one on one with somebody: Do not have one-on-one conversations in the group. Switch to private messages. (As we have already highlighted!)

7. Leaving a voice message in group chats should be used judiciously and not for one second bursts of random noise. The curiosity will get the better of everyone in the group, and the noise will be listened to.

8. Jamming up everyone in the group’s gallery with similar photos is not advised.

9. If someone asks a question and you don’t know the answer don’t respond with “I don’t know”. Just wait for someone who knows the answer to reply.

10. Please don’t send in a hundred “Thank You” messages. If you feel gratitude towards someone - tell them in a private message. As long as you do not SPAM them!

11. The group is not a political platform: No arguing, no heated opinions, no fear mongering, no hyped up drama, no fake news. Check your sources before you share.

12. Never EVER use the group to berate someone else or air out your grievances. If you have an issue address it one on one with the relevant person - especially the group Admin.

13. Don’t send data-insensitive messages. No-one wants their last 50MBs used up on uninvited memes.

If you are not sure, ask yourself these three questions before you post:

1. Is this relevant?
2. Is this necessary?
3. Is this a good time to post?

Thank you for your understanding. Thank you for following Apostle Pride Sibiya Online and thank you for all your encouragements and beautiful comments.
