My two cents in response to video of son beating father and mother because he alleges that they have been bewitching him and siblings. The video shows a sad visual of an old man being beaten and the son declaring he wants to break his arms and legs. Firstly I would like to say this is a very unfortunate one. Am not sure if the parents are into witchcraft. I would want to also examine his evidence of the said witchcraft and source of information.
Anyway, witches are real and remember they are someone’s parent. It is also apparent that as you point at the woman next door to be a witch, the children next door are also pointing at your mother. Haaa zviriko izvo. Say you have genuine evidence that your parent is a witch or wizard is beating them the solution?
For starters be Boble calls us to honour our parents UNCONDITIONALLY!: “Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise” (Ephesians 6:2)
Secondly, the Bible, in the same chapter, tells us that our real enemy is the devil not a person. It therefore exhorts us to fight spirits not human beings: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:2)
I could go on and on giving scriptures that give us wisdom on this issue. However let me just say, the parent who is into witchcraft is not your enemy, the enemy is the spirit working in them. The devil does not want you to know that truth. He already misled your parent into witchcraft and is now gunning for you. Beating a parent is opening doorways of further demonic infestations to more and more generations after you… and Satan is having a party!
You can never defeat the devil at his game and using his weapons much the same way you cannot overcome sharks at sea. The dam is crocodile territory and you can’t defeat it in its home ground. Satan’s home ground is fear, hatred, rage, unforgiveness, revenge. Using any of these against him is like a rabbit trying to fight an eagle at a 1000 metres above sea level.
Imboyedzai tione. The best way to conquer witches is to stay under the blood of Jesus in a Bible-believing church that teaches the Word and does deliverance. It starts with receiving Jesus Christ and staying in his will. In the stead of hating witches, “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse . . . Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.” (Romans 12:14, 17-19).
