Poor Pastors, And The Church: Here It Is!
Today I really want to talk to some sane people and help their sanity even further. It is I, Bishop Pride Sibiya, editing my daughter's copied post to bring a clear picture
The coming of many new churches and great new teachings on the gospel scene has raised very astute men and women of God who are very rich financially and materially. These are mainly founders of ministries who do not say the full story of their survival. While being men of the cloth, they double as very shrewd businesspeople and have made even unbelievers so envious of their wealth. By the way, I want you to know that the prosperity of a servant of God is to be celebrated because God desires His servants to prosper: “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant (Psalm 35:27).” May all of God's servants prosper. Amen!
While some servants of God are living in great wealth, pomp, and luxury, a closer look shows that many are actually living in abject poverty. May the Lord change our predicament! Amen. I don't understand why the world names pastors thieves and yet most of them are a bunch of forgotten people who sacrifice their lives for other people's salvation and deliverance. Take a look at some of the people's budgets in their events below and see how many pastors have been regarded even by their own:

- who is the first to be called,
- run midweek services,
- has to open the coffin for those who mourn
- counselor for those who are crying
- has to preach at church
- conduct burial rites
WHAT IS BEING DONE TO PASTORS?
I have personally wedded over 150 couples and counseled even many more. After seven 1-hour sessions couples say, thank you and leave...ahhh! Inga ndimi munoti, time is money? Are my 7 hours worth nothing? If this happens to me, a church founder, I wonder what will be happening to pastors under my care? Not every pastor is a thief!
1 Corinthians 9: 13-14 "Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple, and that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar? In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel."
While the world sees rich pastors as oppressors of the masses, many of them have worked their way to wealth and those who have not been able to stand for themselves boldly have actually been abused by both the church and society. Apart from this rich mega-church Prophet, that magnificent Prophet, that classy pastor, how many pastors that you know who don't even own a car and are still lodging.
