"I Didn't Understand Why God Let Me Suffer!" - Professor Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti

I WILL NEVER FORSAKE THEE: There are temptations that I encountered that were very difficult for me to understand as to why God allowed them. 

I was greatly persecuted because of God's work. My desire was to preach in all churches and not to form my own church. 

The fame of me being used by God threatened missionary leaders and they said, "You want to take over," They told me to choose between two things either to leave the church or to sit down on the bench not preaching." I was afraid to leave the church and I agreed to their decision.

I tried to sit down but when a preacher preached, the fire burned in my spirit and I found myself preaching again. 

It was then that they expelled me. I did not ask anyone to follow me. I told those who followed me to return to the church but some persisted in following me. I was very thin for six months not knowing what to do.

" Let your contact be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have for he himself has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you." (Heb 13:5).

"They answered and said to him, You were completely born in sins, and are you teaching us? And they cast him out. Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said to him, Do you believe in the Son of God?" (John 9:34-35)

It shocked me because being a young man, I thought the missionaries were going to be blessed with the gift which was in me. Anyway, I have forgiven them with all my heart as they did not know that it was God.
