15 TRAITS OF BABY BELIEVERS AND BELIEVERS WHO ARE BABIES
Baby believers are those who just got saved, come to the Lord, fresh in their faith and are young believers who are just now learning how to walk with Christ. Believers who are babies, on the other hand, are usually longer-term believers who refuse to grow up in the Lord, who still behave in childish, immature, carnal ways and who don’t act like mature believers. Here are some of the differences I see:

1. Baby believers are hungry for God and the undiluted word of God; believers who are babies think they already know enough of the Word of God.
2. Baby believers are teachable and have a learning spirit; believers who are babies are full of themselves, arguing and angry when they are not allowed to teach.
3. Baby believers tell others about Jesus; believers who are babies tell others about themselves.
4. Baby believers cry when they’re hurt because they don’t understand; believers who are babies whine when they don’t get their way.
5. Baby believers look up to Jesus and their spiritual leaders; believers who are babies doesn't look up to Jesus, but men.
6. Baby believers admit they don’t know many things; believers who are babies tend to pretend and argue rather than admit their ignorance.
7. Baby believers rejoice when others do well; believers who are babies get jealous of those who do well.
8. Baby believers tend to shy away from the limelight; believers who are babies expect attention.
9. Baby believers struggle with sin, but they resist and fight it; believers who are babies make excuses for their sin.
10. Baby believers tend to be joyful, no matter what happens; believers who are babies tend to be angry and unpleasant—no matter what happens.
11. Baby Believer's place high value on their spiritual life; believers who are babies are more secular and worldly minded.
12. Baby believers maintain a private life of devotion to the Lord everyday; Believers who are babies neglects their devotional life with Jesus because of rat race of life.
13. Baby believers doesn't allow anything to come between them and the Lord; believers who are babies keeps malice, hurts and bitterness within them for months,years!
14. Baby believers seeks to be heavenly minded; believers who are babies only seeks to be entertained by preachers and entertainers.
15. Baby believers seeks to be channels of God's power to others; believers who are babies only seeks after signs, wonders and miracles from anybody,anywhere.
Whoever you are, you are either a Baby believer or believer who is a baby. You are either growing in the Lord or stagnant in your walk with Him. It's your responsibility to grow and improve in the Lord. If not, you'll remain a baby believer whose heaven is in jeopardy. For it is only growing, maturing believers that will make heaven.
One major purpose of local gathering of believers is to help everyone to grow in the Lord and things of eternal value. Pastors must grow and help believers to grow in the Lord, else we are failing Him.
Happily, you can start growing afresh today by returning back to your first love in the Lord. This new week, new year and new day is another opportunity to start growing anew in the Lord.
