Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice."
We all know that the joy of the Lord translates to our strength in life, marriage, business, and ministry. A revived and joyous spirit can accomplish more with less because of the positive effect of an elated and encouraged soul.

Servants of God, Satan is after your joy. He knows that when you walk through life and ministry in God's joy, you will be unstoppable. Conversely, he does not know how to hold back a joyful man or woman of God.
People who are joyous even in the face of adversity always baffle satanic powers and agents sent to inflict pain on you. The natural human inclination of a human mind is to curse God in times of tribulations, hence a Job like you will provide you energy to go on even when your children, sheep, camels, and assets have been destroyed.

What happens to you when you hit 12 midnight when the sun is furthest from you when it's cold and you are in prison for a good cause? Give up on ministry? No, if His joy is in your heart, you will sing praises even at midnight!!!
So we journey towards closing. Paul is in prison for doing the right thing, preaching the gospel. He is in a cold dungeon jail. He is often out of food and many times Epaphroditus has to bring him food and resources and help him out. In the midst of this, he hears that the great possibility is that he will be killed for his "crime" of preaching Jesus Christ.
It is in this time of uncertainty whether he live or die, both of which he accepts as a blessing, that he writes a letter out of joy to encourage people outside prison instead of being bitter and complaining. Over 16 times he makes reference to joy in just 4 chapters. Oh, I could go on and on but my friends he concludes by telling us to be joyful in the Lord and repeats the encouragement again.
Dear friends, things are not well. Many of us do not even know what will be of our families and ministries after the lockdown but I encourage you to please, rejoice in the Lord...... And again I say, rejoice!
