Loving Yourself: Key To Fullness Of Life

Greetings ladies.

Mark 12:30-31...The second is this: ‘"Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Jesus Christ the epitome of leadership left us with just one commandment: love. This was split into two love God and love your neighbor as yourself.

After recognizing that I can only relate to others in proportion to how I love myself I took time to study this and teach.

Dear friends your self-worth does not start with anyone else except yourself. And the way you value yourself determines how you treat others...also how others treat you. Many ladies complain of how badly they are treated by men-folk or other ladies. The secret is that "if you make yourself a door-mat don't complain when we scrub our dirty feet on you! Who do you expect to love you if you yourself don't see worth in you? Who can be more serious about yourself than yourself?

But this does not come without a background. The background is our great African culture and some unorthodox religious teachings. A woman is seen as an object at the mercy of men. That in itself is not a big problem, but when women also see themselves that way pakaipuur!!! Older women and friends are responsible for forcing it down our throats that a woman who is not aligned to a man is nothing. Feminine oppression is worse from women than men...madzimai haasimukire anepamuviri mubhazi...the better of battles in the family are my mother and sister vs my wife...I can go on and on...tongoti, "STOP IT!"

When God created male and female the Bible says: "Male and female created He them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created."(Genesis 5:2). Did you notice all were created by the same God and named Adam and we're all blessed... i.e empowered to prosper?

Yes, men will always need women and vice versa but you can't be a nobody because you are not married or you don't have a man in your business! You are blessed!

Your worth is not tied to someone, it is in you, it is what God has put in you. Do you value that sisters wega pasina umwe ati chakakosha? Before hugging me, hug yourself, before checking the handsome guy, look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself you are beautiful, wonderfully and fearfully made in God's image, the apple of God's eye, wise, a queen, blessed and prosperous! That won't need any other person, just you!

After you understand this, I pray that God will send a man who will confirm what you already know about yourself woman of God, a man who will love and respect you, cherish and be a suitable man with a suitable help.
