In traditional Zimbabwe, rain-making was associated with cultic worship which included alcohol and dance, even, explicit songs but never went to the extent of such sexual abuse that we see today. It is sad that old, and especially young, people are engaged is such parties and destroying their spiritual, physical and psychological lives. In short, let us examine God's original plan for sex.
In the beginning God created one person and it was his plan for that person to be united. Finding no help, he had to separate the person in two, Adam and Eve: "So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man"(Genesis 2:21-22). God's plan has remained that the two be one so God has chose the act of sex to unite the two: "Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh"(1 Corinthians 6:16).

Sex is not just an act of adult amusement, it is deeply spiritual act that may cause serious demonic influences when handled in ungodly ways. When you disturb the spiritual flow every other aspect of human life falls apart. Sex is like fire. I this winter, as long as it's in rightful place, the fireplace, it warms the family. Take it to the blankets, it burns the whole family. Sex I it's rightful place, holy matrimony, warms marriages, but in sexual orgies cause a whole nation to fall.
As I close, beloved Zimbabweans, please remember how in Numbers 25, the children of Israel engaged is such an orgy and ended losing 24 000 of them. Also remember that 1 Corinthians 10 says that all of this was done as an example for us! STIs, demons, veneral diseases, emotional challenges will always follow. I pray, today, that we may be delivered for such as Zimbabweans. Bless you maZimbabwe!
