The choice is yours! It is apparent that when the things you used to do show up before you the lust within you will arise and claim that a short-cut is able to give you the gratification that the lust has raised in you.
This is when you must decide to control yourself. Temptations from the old man will always come but know that you are no the only one going through this and it is not peculiar to you 1Peter 5:8-9 ¶ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 1Peter 4:12 ¶ Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you.

By Apostle Pride Sibiya
You are not the only one who is:
- Seeing that money can be gotten easily through ungodly means.
- Seeing that women are getting more beautiful or that the man next door seems more loving, richer and has a bigger six-pack than yours.
- Seeing that you can destroy your enemy’s life by a single rumour.
- Feeling the urge to talk about the juicy issues of the man/woman of God, on issues I now know but others do not.
- Feeling it is a nasty temptation to look when I have availed the opportunity to see pornographic literature.
- Tempted to go on living in illicit sex, homosexuality, lesbianism, drug abuse and to resist the urge to smoke when you feel withdrawal symptoms.
- Feeling like exploding and telling off someone who has wronged you.
When you decide that the urge is too much and you cannot resist then you sin, you have missed the mark, you have failed.
The difference between one who passes and one who fails, one that says “what did you expect me to do in those circumstances?” is self-control. Self-control is deciding to follow your set principles, to respect your future than to choose instant gratification, it is saying o self “I will not though I can”,it is saying, “I have the ability to do it and to cover up without anyone knowing but I will say no to myself.” It is resisting yourself, fighting against yourself, deciding to kill self, to crucify self that Christ may live within you. Ga 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Control yourself you are no the only one being tempted and what you are going through is no peculiar to you.
Everyone is going through this, so control yourself. Not every woman is your wife, not every man is your hubby, its not every party you have to attend, not every church that comes to town is your church, not every man you meet should you sleep with, every lady that asks you to sleep with should you give your body, in short not every temptation that crosses your path should you yield to, control yourself, you are not an animal you are a human being you have a conscience and God expects you to control yourself. Hapana satani apa, hapana mweya yemadzinza apa, hauna munyama, you are not cursed asi hauzvibate chete! Zvibate, control yourself!
AIDS is wreaking havoc because of unbridled sexual lusts, road accidents are all over because of drivers who cannot control themselves to drink at home, corruption has brought Zimbabwe to its knees because someone could not control their love for money, families are breaking down because of men and women who lack self-control.
