Off-course he used a sling and stones! But the drive and power behind the weapons was in a name: “Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied” (1 Samuel 17:45).
The name of Jesus is a strong force, it is an army in itself and by doing things using it you will get results: “And whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13). Always pray using the name of Jesus and fight from a position of relationship with Him. Yours is victory!
