MUST READ: Even In Persecution, Hold On

The book of Hebrews was written to Jewish Christians you were suffering the brunt of persecution. 

These had been believers in Judaism all their life. After hearing the gospel, they received it and became believers in Christ. In an attempt to destroy their faith, Satan raised persecution of its highest kind against them.

The Apostle Paul wrote to them and us who are persecuted for Christ today: “But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul” Hebrews 10:39. 

Even In Persecution, Hold On

Jesus himself had told us: “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you” (John 15:18-19). The gospel that teaches just earthly glory and avoids showing you the cross of calvary is not a gospel at all. The Bible tells us that we are blessed when we suffer FOR CHRIST's sake.While I am certainly not looking for suffering, if it comes, I am willing! Are you?

Church fathers were burnt, sliced into two, thrown to lions, beaten and dragged by horses till death for Christ. "Maporofita mapostori akafira Jesu, variko pamwe naKristu, neni ndichaenda.(the apostle of old suffered and died for Christ, I too will take the same path)"

Even in suffering, never give up your faith!
