Satan uses friends and associates, especially those that have a different belief system to dissuade you from the faith so that his demons may repossess or oppress you.

Just do away with them: “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed. For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds” (2 John 10-11). On the contrary, value friends that take you closer to Jesus, that encourage you and help you become a better you.
