You plant only one seed but a number of stems can sprout from one plant. From the plant you harvest pumpkins. We eat pumpkins, the flowers and leaves from this plant.

As Christians of this day and age we need to always be evergreen and soft like the pumpkin plant. Romans 12; 18 says,” If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone”. A Christian must be teachable, accept to be rebuked and welcome correction. Humble yourself as the pumpkin plant willing to grow and stretch but also can be contained.

Stay evergreen. As a Christian you must be able to speak with caution and know the right words to speak, words that motivate many people to adhere to the word of God. You must be willing to be led to repentance when you have grown in sin. Show your Christianity regardless of which church you belong to just like the pumpkin plant that thrives and grow regardless of which other plants are growing around it. Stand strong with the word of God. In conclusion a Christian must bear fruits of the spirit that are sweet to the world like pumpkins. Galatians 5: 22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, the fruit.” Stay evergreen.
Even if you are living in a city full of sinners, be like the pumpkin plant that can be found growing amongst maize plants.
