Jezebel spirit is a spirit that seeks to wipe out all genuine servants of God. I want to thank God that every time the Jezebel spirit is fighting the servants of God, He would have already raised an Obadiah ministry.
Jezebel was the wife of King Ahab who sought to eliminate all true prophets of Yahweh and push for the proliferation of false ones. While 1 true prophet, Elijah, was fed by ravens in the land of drought, over 850 false prophets were fed by Jezebel in the castle! Can you imagine!
Obadiah rose against Jezebel for the sole reason that he feared God greatly. This ministry matches ranks and dislodges the Jezebel mandate by protecting and feeding the anointed and the anointing: “And Ahab called Obadiah, which was the governor of his house. Now Obadiah feared the Lord greatly. For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the Lord, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water” (1 Kings 18: 3-4).
Today Jezebels stand to criticise true and false servants of God alike, speak and prophesy against them, their families and prosperity. When anyone stands for the welfare of God's servants they oppose but carry people to seed and offer wealth outside of their local churches to any fly-by ministry. Obadiah's of today honour servants of God for what God has done in them. The seek for the total welfare and prosperity of the servants of God, in life and ministry.
Who are you in the church? The Jezebel or the Obadiah? God is calling you to be an Obadiah now! May this spirit of Jezebel be destroyed from your spiritual Israel, the Church. I pray that God may raise you as an Obadiah who feeds God’s servants even in times of opposition and famine.
