There Is Hope Zimbabwe [Part 3] - The Bread-Basket Or The Basket-Case

While bread-basket symbolises a silo of food, a basket-case shows a desperate begging situation. What is Zimbabwe then?

Yesterday, I made reference to Zimbabwe as the bread-basket. Since it's inception as a nation Zimbabwe was known by this description by its regional neighbours because of how it fed other nations. Yet, it is part of the growth process that there may be a season where bread is not in the bread-basket.

In the book of Ruth Elimelech leaves his home, Bethlehem, like many of us, because of famine. By the way, Bethlehem means, "house of bread." It is possible to find famine even in a house of bread. But famine is not your destiny!
he Bread-Basket Or The Basket-Case
The famine led to the bringing in of a foreign lady, Ruth, whom God used to bring forth Jesus, the Bread of life, lineage ultimately saving the whole world.
Never give up because there is no bread in the bread- basket. We are here for the saving of nations.

There is hope, Zimbabwe. We are dispensers not only of physical bread but the bread of life. That is our destiny. This is my conviction and I stick to it.

"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times." Micah 5:2.
