How To Stir Up Your Gift

Are you a man or woman of God who wants to see your gift operate at full potential? When you light up a fire there is need to continually fan it into full flame. A gift from God is like a fire. If not attended to can Fan into flame the gift that God has given you (1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6)

1. Submit fully to the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God on earth. He is the strength of all that happens in the godly supernatural. The presence and anointing of the Holy Spirit oils the engine of God's gifts.

2. Serve a servant of God
The one who is above you has the key to unlock the grace in you e.g how Mary unlocked the miraculous in the life of her son at the Wedding at Cana.You need an Elijah if you are an Elisha, an Elizabeth if you are a Mary. All of us need spiritual parents.

3. Love. Do not fear
Deal with pride
Deal with fearing for your name
Deal with the fear of the unknown (step into the waters)
Deal with the fear of the future- will this work?

4. Desire
Have a strong passion for your gift. Desire makes operation in a gift to be easy and smooth.

5. Take every opportunity to use the gift
Whenever there is a chance make use of the gift.

6. Always use your gift at every time where it is either fit or unfit.
Continual use of your gift will help it grow. Anything that is not growing is dying. The problem we have is running for many gifts and yet do not use the ones we have. In and out of season use your gift. 2 Tim 4:1-2 as you use it you are sharpening

7. Personalize the gospel 1 Timothy 1:11, 2 Timothy 2:8
For Paul the gospel had become "...according to my gospel." Make it a point that you are a joint-owner of the Kingdom work with God not God's worker.

8. Ignore the thorn in your own flesh 2 Corinthians 5
You will always have something that will be a mockery of God's ability and power in your life. Despite that move on!

9. Give Acts 10:2
Givers easily experience angelic and heavenly activity in their lives. Check all biblical and non biblical givers. Your gifts in addition to your prayers trigger Heaven.
10. Break the traditions
MuGlory hatidai, we have always done it this way, apostle never did it this way Acts 10:13-1. Break those traditions and follow the Spirit.

11. Do not be discouraged by falling. 2 Timothy 4:20
It is better to fall whilst moving than being safe but immobile.

12. Be diligent 2 Timothy 2:15
Soak in messages, study from others. Buy books, DVDs, study the Word. A man of God must have the ability to grow Leviticus 21:18,20

13. Cleanse yourself from dishonor 2 Timothy 2:21
The Word tells us that we ought to cleanse ourselves if we are to be vessels of honour.

14. Read around your area, see pictures, study 2 Timothy 4:13

15. Tap into people who have brought you up in the Lord. 
Make use of the positives in their lives 2 Timothy 1:4. God will always position many people around you to nurture you.

Never forsake those people but try by all means to tap into the grace on their lives by following them, listening, observing and giving them gifts.
