Why Was Mankind Created?

Just yesterday I was doing yet another interview which will be flighted on Zimbabwe Television (Z.T.V) soon. The interview had to do with the doctrine of Anthropology. 

In short anthropology comes from two word, anthropos (to do with mankind) and logos (discourse or study). A basic definition would therefore be that it is a study of mankind.

Why did God create men? God created man that He may share dominion with man... "...that they may have dominion..." (Genesis 1:26). God, of His own accord, decided, in His love to share his dominion so He opened the platform to create man so as to share with Him his dominion. The set-up was that God becomes the King of Heaven while the man, Adam, becomes the king of the Heaven. This is the core of Psalm 115:16: "The heaven and the heavens above belong to the Lord, but the earth He has given to the children of men" Ultimately God owns everything, Heaven and Earth.

Humanity was not created to suffer. We were not created to just barely live through. We were created for dominion. Dominion is a word meant to show rulership. It is important to know that this rulership is not over other human beings but over the earth and the resources thereof.

However the dominion that was given to Adam and Eve on our behalf was lost when they fell from grace. when they partook of the forbidden tree, the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they lost what God had given them, the Kingdom. From that day, the king of the earth became the one whom they had listened to, the devil. this we see in 2 Corinthians 4:4, " In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not..." That is the devil right there. The devil reigned on the earth(physical landscape) and in the world(system of governance). Thank God for the coming of Jesus Christ to seek and save that which was lost, the Kingdom (Luke 19:10). The cross of Jesus Christ is a clear interference in the kingdom of darkness, a destruction of a skewed vision of a rebel who rebelled against the Ultimate Father. Jesus brought the restoration of the Kingdom of god to the rightful owners, humanity.

Do not seek food...sleep...water...drinks...clothing...happiness. "First seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you."(Matthew 6:33)

Receive Christ now and enter His Kingdom now. Your purpose here is to have dominion, to be above only and never beneath.
