Christian Ministry: Boost Hospitality In Church

Hospitality is one of the most important departments in Church. A hospital is expected to be a place where when people come sick in wheel-barrows leave well and walking alone. When people come to church they are sick and tired of life...even before they hear the Word they must be received in a way that makes them forget all their cares. This is the duty of this dept.

Receive people in a way that they will not want to go back home again, give them the attention they need, the necessary help, smile at them, greet them cheerfully, notify them of all needed info, love them and make them feel at home. This long-lasting impression keeps people in Church.

You are the first impression that people have of your church and they judge everything else based on you. Remember, the first cut is the deepest. Also remember, you will not have a second chance of making a first impression. Be at your best always and do it right the first time. A person who is harassed at church will not come back again. It is therefore important to be patriotic to you pastor, church, vision, be the smartest dept in church, smell good, be kind and loving, brush your teeth, be prayerful and Word loving.

Those who host servants of God or the "pulpit ministry" must be concerned about this only. Check for the water, fruits, towels, sweets for the servants of God. Quickly pick up things that fall down at the alter, let your eye be always open to what is happening there and respond. Handle food and water properly. Support the pastor in all and even when preaching.

This is the dept responsible for receiving angels...sometimes without knowing(Hebrews 13:2).

We need proper hosting in the church. Be committed and God will bless you. Part of the leadership training going on as I try to improve our service to the Mega Souls that God is giving to the churches in the Body of Christ globally.
